About the event

Target demographic: BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People Of Color) youth ages 0 to 8 years old

Older siblings, families and friends are welcome.

Urban Forest School allows nature to teach us and permits children to engage naturally in the space. The principle goals are for children to grow as protectors of nature, take note of what's happening around them and overall nature appreciation.

We'll be exploring the Sorensen Nature Trail using a scavenger hunt activity and searching for the perfect walking stick. Walking sticks provide balance but we'll discuss some other reasons why walking sticks can be important while on a hike.
