Let's Join CLEAN WATER FOR BENTON HARBOR! Urban Forest Schoolers will participate in a commUNITY driven donation drive accepting prepackaged, bottled water to send to Benton Harbor, MI in response to the water crisis affecting their commUNITY. Rain or shine... (unless thunder & lightening storm)

About the event

Meet us at the D.E.N (Detroit Exploration and Nature Center) parking lot on the Southwest corner of 7 mile and Woodward. Please arrive prior to 11am to allow for parking and check-in with Black To The Land Coalition. 

A portion of the programming will involve participation in the water bottle donation drive. Afterwards, Urban Forest Schoolers will have a chance to meet participants and continue our outdoor learning while on a guided nature walk. Masks and social distancing are required.

Rain or shine... (unless thunder & lightening storm) 

  • Check the weather prior to venturing out. 

  • Dress in layers, wear head protection like hats, sunglasses, wear footwear that can handle muddy conditions

  • Check your email and/or text for updates, cancellations, etc
