About the event
Are you ready to sleep under the stars and wake up to the rising sun? Oakland Parks welcomes the Black to the Land family to its private campground to enjoy a weekend of camping.
When: August 15th (4PM) to August 17th (10:30AM) Must arrive and check in by 7:30pm on Friday.
Where: Independence Oaks Park (9501 Sashabaw Rd, Village of Clarkston, MI 48348)
What: A private campsite with a spacious area for families and a space for the grown folks. Tents only, as there are no cabins. Modern bathhouse with showers and restrooms right at campsite. The pavilion at the family site includes picnic tables and a large charcoal grill. There are electrical outlets, a water spout, and a campfire ring on site (no portable fire pits allowed).
