This is an early one, promptness is key!!!

We'll meet at Detroit International Wildlife Refuge (John D. Dingell Jr. Visitor Center at 7:30am. Fishing starts at 8am. The event lasts all day until approximately 4:30pm however you don't have to stay the entire time. First come, first serve on the FREE fishing rods to use and take home. All others bring your own. We will distribute fishing rod and equipment, demonstrate on dry land the how-tos and once you have the hang of it, let's get those lines in the water.

Monitor the weather prior to venturing out and dress for the weather prediction of the day

• Please bring your reusable water bottle and stay hydrated.
• Dress in layers, wear head protection like hats, sunglasses
• Wear appropriate footwear
• Our fishing clinic will follow all CDC recommendations that allow us all to remain safe
• Due to the nature of being outdoors, consider bringing bug spray and sunscreen

For all season, additional $26 for 17 years old and up

For one day, additional $10 for 17 years old and up

Fishing licenses can be purchased online any time. Requires a profile login, basic information such as name, address, DOB, weight and height plus driver's license or state ID.
