Our signature fishing clinic for all levels ages 8 to adult, taught by Jamal Alugdah, native Detroiter and avid fisherman. Come & learn to fish. Free high quality fishing rod to take home with you or pay it forward and give to someone else! Register the whole squad. It's going to be off da hook!

This is an early one, promptness is key!!!

We'll meet at Detroit International Wildlife Refuge (John D. Dingell Jr. Visitor Center at 7:30am. Fishing starts at 8am. The event lasts all day until approximately 4:30pm however you don't have to stay the entire time. First come, first serve on the FREE fishing rods to use and take home. All others bring your own. We will distribute fishing rod and equipment, demonstrate on dry land the how-tos and once you have the hang of it, let's get those lines in the water.
