Urban Forest School Teen Squad

In-person kick off event with an hour lunch break for BIPOC youth.

Learn about the program, meet fellow teen participants and let's have some fun! Meetings and gatherings will take place monthly and will alternate between virtual and in-person. Because this is youth led, a schedule will not be established until all the teen participants meet and share their ideas, schedule, and plans. While this is a "choose your own adventure" type of program, teens will be guided by Black To The Land Coalition male & female leadership and will have support from our newly appointed Youth Advisor who is also a peer leader. If your teen needs development in a specific area, we're here to assist with the opportunity for them to flourish! Program runs from March to December 2022 although we are looking to conduct this year round, season to season. The program is FREE, although there may be fundraising involved to cover low cost trips and outings such as indoor rock climbing, selfie museum visits, kayaking, camping and .
